I spent the day on the couch in the Axline house (546 S. Catalina, Pasadena, CA) and was working off-and-on the whole time. Considering the number of people there and movies playing, I finished a lot of my work; the major part of the explaination behind my methods is fully written (being TeXed up by Jeff) and I finally got my code working correctly... my slip maps look like slip maps! They're fairly exagerated, but that was to be expected given my extrapolation procedure cerca 1935. Maybe I won't crop the data and see how it comes out.
Tomorrow I do everything else I need to before I go to China, and on Monday I run errands. Tuesday I leave.
